As the CEO of MADiscover, Mai Anh leads MADiscover’s client strategy and ensures the platform’s development remains aligned with the strategic challenges M&A teams face in practice. She is an avid customer focused person and has quickly established herself as trusted advisor for acquirers from various industries.
Before dedicating her time to MADiscover she has been a widely acknowledged scientific researcher. Her research has been recognized with awards including honors from the Austrian Federal Minister of Science, Research and Economy.
Dr. Wieland Alge
Co-Founder & CFO
Wieland is a multiple entrepreneur in internet security and digitalization technologies. He has also led several M&A transactions from screening, over integrating, to selling businesses.
Wieland has more than 25 years of experience founding and running startups and scaleups. He won the EY entrepreneur of the year award back in 2008.
Dr. Florian Bauer
Co-Founder
Florian is Professor of Strategy at University of Bristol Business School. His research focuses on organizational transformation processes, growth strategies, and M&A, with publications in leading academic journals. This research foundation ensures MADiscover’s platform remains grounded in evidence-based insights on strategic decision-making, incorporating findings on cognitive biases, strategic fit assessment, and organizational complementarity.
